The animation was created using a 3D plugin called Yanobox Storm which runs in After Effects.

What inspired the visual aesthetic?

The visual aesthetic was inspired by the organic patterns and textures in nature, particularly water. Having spent countless hours photographing natural forms in macro, I've always been drawn to the qualities and hidden details revealed through close observation.

How did you collaborate with Batbirds to create the score?

Batbirds and I had already been collaborating on a series of shorter videos, sharing a common vision of creating healing experiences that were more authentic and reflective of life's complexities. The collaboration on 'Eons' happened organically. I had just begun the initial animation and, on a whim, sent it over to Aaron. He immediately responded, saying the music they were working on fit the tone perfectly. I agreed, and we started shaping the visuals and music together, allowing each element to inform and enhance the other.
